Day Program Services
North Star offers several day service options designed to access to all of the clinical and/or life skill training they need to live more independent and fulfilling lives.
Enhanced Day Habilitation Program
This program is for persons with diagnosed mental retardation, epilepsy, cerebral palsy, autism or neurological impairment that occurred before their twenty second birthday. Program offers access to a full range of clinical services including medical, speech, psychological, social, recreational, occupational and physical therapies. Staff also work with participants to improve basic health & hygiene, domestic, recreation, communication, community integration and pre-vocational skills. Community Day Habilitation Program
Services provided in this program are designed for individuals who do not require the clinical therapies offered in the Enhanced Day Habilitation program, but who are not yet prepared to accept the demands of paid employment. Home and Community Based Waiver Services
These services are provided in North Star residential facilities and in homes of individuals with developmental disabilities. Services are designed to teach individuals how to be part of the community, productive in their lives and as independent as possible. Included as part of this program are residential and day habilitation, respite and case management services. Seniors Day Habilitation Program
